The Seven Orders
Seven Orders guard the seven Solar Stones. They were founded to protect the fragments. What they truly protect is a different question.
After the Breaking, seven Orders formed, one for each Solar Stone. Officially their mission is protection and preservation. In practice, each Order has developed its own philosophy, its own interests, its own version of history.
The Night Blades kill anyone who comes too close to their stone. The Light Priests have made a religion of theirs. The Green Wardens live in symbiosis with a forest that defends itself. The Mistwalkers navigate a region where time is unreliable. The Shadow Wardens pay the price of darkness with their sanity. The Stormbreakers guard a sea no one can cross.
What all seven share: they know more than they say. And they are willing to fight for that knowledge.
