Aeryndor is not a quiet place. The continent bears the scars of an event that changed the world itself — the Breaking.
Nearly a thousand years ago, the sun shattered into seven fragments. These fragments — Solar Stones — fell across Aeryndor and altered everything: landscapes, climate and the laws of nature themselves. Some regions became fertile, others uninhabitable. In some, time seems to pass more slowly; in others, faster.
Today Aeryndor is a continent of contrasts. Powerful realms stand beside forgotten ruins. Dense forests conceal ancient secrets, while above the south hangs a reddish sky that never quite fades.
